The Vegan Beauty Awards is an initiative that evaluates and endorses vegan‑only beauty products and services through a rigorous selection process.
- Evaluation and jury: Submissions are evaluated by a panel of expert evaluators including beauty therapists, skincare experts, makeup artists, marketing professionals and vegan‑industry entrepreneurs.
- Product testing process: Products are blind‑tested by at least three evaluators; packaging is removed to prevent bias, and final approvals are signed off by the Head Evaluator and CEO.
- Eligibility criteria: Only vegan, cruelty‑free items compliant with UK or equivalent cosmetic safety standards are eligible. Prototypes, unpublished or large items are not accepted.
- Entry structure: There is no fee to apply. Paid tiers (£100–£250) apply only upon award; levels include Seal only, Level 1, Level 2 and Premium.
- Rewards and recognition: Awardees receive usage rights for digital seal, social media assets, digital certificate, website listing, CEO endorsement, blog feature and homepage gallery depending on tier.
- Categories covered: Wide range including makeup, serums, creams, hair care, cleansers, bath & body, tools & accessories, wellness, oral health and more.
- Submission process: Applications accepted year‑round; outcome usually provided within two weeks of receiving samples. Samples are not returned.
