The AVA Digital Awards recognize outstanding digital communications projects judged purely on creative merit and execution.
- Organizers: Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), founded in 1994 and overseeing multiple well-known programs.
- Entry and eligibility: Open to individuals, companies and organizations producing digital media for internal or external audiences; eligible work must have been created within two years of entry.
- Judging process: Blind evaluation by experienced industry professionals; each entry judged on its own merit—not compared against other entries.
- Fees and pro bono policy: Standard entry fee is US $125; campaigns and specialty categories US $195. Pro bono work for nonprofits is eligible for free after at least one paid entry.
- Categories: 200+ across Digital Marketing, Social Campaigns, SEO, Web-Based Production, Video, Audio, Interactive, Print, Web Design, Mobile, Creativity, etc.
- Recognition materials: Winners receive one free certificate; additional certificates US $35; statuettes available to purchase separately.
- Timeline: Entries accepted year-round; winners are announced and results posted to entrant accounts by February 1 annually.
